Training for Teachers

Training teachersJohn is passionately concerned with the Personal and Professional Development of young people and professionals and has been training teachers and others since the 1980s.

John has recently developed a range of training approaches and packages to support the development of teachers and other professionals in interactive, participatory styles of learning to reduce health inequalities and enhance school improvement.

John is a Regional Advisor for the National PSHE CPD Programme and Regional Subject Advisor for the PSHE Association.

Through the APAUSE programme John was responsible for developing and monitoring training packages for teachers, health professionals, youth workers and young people.

John has headed up the relaunch of Sexual Health & Relationship resource at Get Your Head Round It.
